Beautiful set of solid Silver gilt teaspoons in the original blue velvet
lined box.The spoons are a delight to look at and hold,very ornate and
the gilded bowls have no wear at all.Obviously made for someone special,the
hallmark is Sheffield 1903,so 2 years after the death of the old Queen.Thses
spoons should please the fussiest of collectors.Something different and

with clean lines to the teapot and of a good size too.The set is in spotless
and strong condition.We matched the little gallery tray and lace doilley

SILVER TEA KNIVES.These are a particularly nice set,larger than normal including the leatherette covered box that is also of a good size.These knives are superb measureing 7.25 inches long.Attractive handle design, each knife is hallmarked for 1916.The stamp on the lid says Harrison & Son, County Goldsmiths.The maker was Yates brothers.Such is the lovely condition this set would make a beautiful Antique gift. SWTT1m | ![]() Here we are offering a very nice Georgian Sugar tongs approximately 5.5inches long.They were made by the illustrious London silversmith of George Wintle at his Bunhill Row workshop.The tongs are engraved "RMJ"and fully hallmarked for 1809.They are 25.8grams,so a good weight of silver,not far off 6inches long.Over 200 hundred years old.Lovely clean condition.£65. |

snuffer cap plus all the safety chains.The pattern is the reeded design.There
is rubbing both sides of the kettle to the silverplate due to enthusiastic
cleaning over the past 100 years,however we shall call this "Shabby

were very important in days gone by as the only real source of light.Almost
unimaginable by todays standards, as we only have to switch on an electric
light! - The vast amount of work entailed in keeping the candlewicks trimmed,the
sticks polished bright and shining would have taken hours and hours,but,
every good housekeeper ensured that these laborious chores were done daily
to ensure that their cottages were as clean and bright as possible. These
