Very old Antique Staffordshire Cheese dish.This is a strong set that has no grease marks through useage.These old Cheese dishes were on everyones grandmothers tables.This one has mottled/spongeware green decoration and each side shows a country scene with some floral sprays on the top.Dated from circa 1880.The condition is grand, there is a firing mark of 1inch on the back of the lid, but this is not damage it happened in the kiln in the makeing process.Staffordshire pottery is sometimes robust and primitive but this is it's appeal.. £45 GB pounds

Copper lustre jugs.A Fine graduated sized pair of Copper lustre jugs in the polka pattern.The jugs were made in Staffordshire,England around 1845-50,the larger jug measures 8.5inches to the top of the handle and the base diameter is 5inches across,the shorter jug measures 7inches to the top of the handle and the base is 4inches across.They are decorated over the glaze in a "slub" green enamel .
