SUPERB AND RARE IRISH CAP BADGE.IRISH RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION VOLUNTEER TRAINING CORPS.This Regt was formed in 1914 under the banner of the Irish Association of Volunteer training corps.This badge belonged to the DUBLIN section of recruits.A small badge with a flat back and 2 rear lugs in brass.£45.

THE 1ST BADGE IS THE RARE 36TH DIVISION,THE MAKERS NAME IS ON THE BACK,SHARMANN D.NIELL,BELFAST (also listed as number 11 on this page).IN BRASS AT £25.THE 2ND BADGE TO THE RIGHT IS THE YOUNG CITIZENS DIV.OF THE ROYAL IRISH RIFLES 1914-18.£16. VERY FINE BADGES.

2 Super Royal Dragoon cap badges.The larger badge was around the 1990 mark with the crown of Queen Victoria at £17 and the other one has the later WW1 Kings crown,and that is £14..

The 9th Lancers famous cap badge of a small size.This badge  has the crown of Queen Victoria,all in brass.Not many survived as Lancer badges were always weak,but this one is fine. £20

2 Superb Lincoln Regiment cap badges.The first badge is the WW1 version (note the absence of "Royal") £17 and the 2nd is a classic Officers badge in brass (the camera has lightened it) £24.

Unusual Badges of the Gordon Highlanders.The white metal badge is not the usual Stags head version,this is the slightly wider badge with the gap in the motto spelling BY - DAND.The other is a desirable small all brass Gordon Highlanders (92nd of foot) Jnr Officers badge of WW1 period at £18.

The larger brass badge is the Irish Fusiliers Glengarry,a lovely badge at £20.The smaller badge is the Irish Fusiliers (Princess Louise's own - a daughter of Queen Victoria) small cap with the detached coronet (it looks fixed but is seperate)this is the earlier badge pre WW1 period at £17.

The splendid Officers Solid Silver Scottish 105th Lanarkshire Regiment.A very fine and very heavy Sterling Silver badge, it speaks quality...You would go a long way to find a better silver badge than this little beauty. £48.

Super WW1 Hussars.The 1st badge on the left is the popular 18th Hussars,great badge,the middle badge is the North Devon Hussars.The 3rd badge is the 14th Hussars.All in brass with rear lugs.£15 each badge.Now there's a bargain!!

Cornwall Light Infantry Regiments of foot. These were the 2 types of Glengarries worn for the 32nd of foot.Both badges for sale at £17 each.

Middlesex Regimental badges.The top badge is the 77th of foot,The East Middlesex Regiment of foot/2nd battalion,the Duke of Cambridges Own Middlesex Regt.£16. The extreme left is the long star badge of the Middlesex Volunteers,hard to find £15.The bottom badge is the old Pioneer Battalion of the Miidlesex also listed on its own as Number 51,£20.The badge on the extreme right is the 1st Volunteers at £21,also listed above.

DURHAM. A feast for Durham collectors!!..The top badge is the very famous 106th of foot,the Bombay Light Infantry that won many honours while serving in India.Super badge with the crown of Queen Victoria £24. The badge to the extreme left is the Durham Light Infantry with the embossed bugle and the famous South Africa lower banner.£18. The smaller badge below is the DLI but post 1953 at £14.The badge to the extreme right is the usual WW1 DLI in white metal at £14.All great badges.

Here is a very rare copy of the 17th - 21st  Lancers Helmet plate ,wrap around type worn in the reign of Queen Victoria.
Even though this is a copy you should not be able to find another.We were given assurance of this by a firm that make these rare Museum badges and plumes,some are for Regalia worn on parade etc.This one has a leather backing. For sale at £85.
